Welcome to Arredondo Elementary's
Library Without Walls
Our jaguars need love to visit the library. They are eager to explore the shelves of our library and sometimes beg to check out books. A library without walls will help keep our students connected to our school and library all day, every day. Our school's Library Without Walls (WOW) will be home to library and school news, virtual field trip links, Book Club reviews, and will feature student reviews and book suggestions.
Arredondo Library Mission
We Can & We Will provide our students with an environment that encourages students to take risks, and celebrate uniqueness, while equipping them with the tools for success, establishing an academic foundation that will foster a nurturing environment dedicated to all learners intellectual curiosity and personal enjoyment of reading. Our school library serves to instill a love of reading, insprire life-long learning, and foster independent library use. Our library will offer a rich variety of print and electronic resources necessary to create a challenging environment to promote global innovators and life-long learners.
Mrs. Rubin's Weekly Reads
Amelia's Notebook by author Marissa MossAmelia's Notebook is a fun read. The Moss takes readers on an adventure via Amelia's journal. The journal entries are entertaining and packed with fun illustrations. If you like, The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, you'll love the Amelia's Notebook series. Check them out during your next visit to our library and after, please share your thoughts with me. I'd love to hear your opinion.
